The first day, we set out from Jammu and reached Udhampur, where we stayed for the night. Today we are going from Udhampur to Kishtwar
A break in the ride - I admire the scenery, Adi takes selfies, and Bawa catches 40 winks! The man can sleep anywhere.
Really...look at the view behind, and see our man
Nothing can wake him
I went off to explore what these two structures were...
It turned out to be a remembrance of this dude who presumably died here...perhaps in an accident? What a morbid thing to see on the road!
And this garish eyesore turned out be - what else - a temple.
I hate dams. See what this dam has turned this beautiful river into.
Oh no! Bawa is having bike issues! His engine clamp is broken
He goes off into a tirade! That lousy lazy RE service centre has not done any of the work he told them to do!
Bawa ka seal phod diya! His front fork shock absorber oil seal has gone! He is in for a bumpy ride.
What amazing views! The Chenab will be our companion for some time now
There is nothing like a Himalayan river
Himalayan traffic jam!
We are finally at Kishtwar and are chilling out in the giant meadow called the Chowgan.
It's an amazing place for the local people to relax in the evening. See the locals playing cricket...they had only one pair of pads, so both batsmen used one each

It's a wonderful open meadow in the middle of the town, and a great place for locals to come and chill in the evening
And they can see some strange people too...
What a beautiful evening and what beautiful mountains. Kishtwar is ringed by mountains.
