Ketan Joshi is the author of the ‘Three Men on Motorcycles’ series - a humorous travel-adventure series about him and his friends - the ‘Amigos’- riding their Royal Enfield motorcycles across far-flung parts of India - and the 'One Man Goes Backpacking' series - travel adventures all over India and beyond on public transport.
He is the author of 16 books - 12 books of travel writing, 3 books of fiction and 1 non-fiction book - and also hosts a Youtube channel and a Podcast.
Apart from riding his motorbike to all corners of India, Ketan has travelled to more than 40 countries and has trekked in the Himalayas, cycled in the Konkan, scuba dived in Bali, snorkelled in the Great Barrier Reef, parachute-jumped in Australia, Bungee-jumped in Nepal and has been thrown off a horse in New Zealand.
Before he got into motorcycle touring, he was a backpacker and trekker- and met his better one-quarter - Bharathi - during his travels. Bharathi - also known to readers as 'SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED' - has amazing travel chops - she has travelled to 5 continents, god-knows-how-many-countries, cycled to Ladakh, Kazakstan and France, run the marathon, is a qualified high-altitude mountaineer, hardcore trekker and backpacker and is a travel-savant who knows anything and everything about travel.
Ketan is an MBA from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai and worked as a Sales and Marketing professional for over 20 years in various FMCG companies and IT startups, before jumping ship to become a full time traveller and writer.
Ketan lives and works in Mumbai, India.
