I had developed a friendship and regard for the elderly host of my homestay - and I loved the house for having a real 'lived in' feel.
He asked me what i did - and when I told him that I was an author - his eyes lit up! 'I am an author too!' he said - and gave me a copy of his book !
After a long and tiring ride on a very horrible road, I finally make it into Nagaland
This must have been some kind of ancient religious site - with all these standing stones and monoliths. But now since all the Nagas are Christians, they don't care about this place much.
An amazing piece of history
And finally I make it to the Hornbill festival site and check into the camping site!
