But soon we came to this turn off to the Valley of Flowers

The only bad thing was this ghastly rocky path which was tough to walk on.

The road was immediately so much better - no crowds, calm and quiet, green and beautiful!

And after a long and arduous climb, we finally enter into the valley! What a view!

The day hike trail ends here at the bend of the Pushpawati - you can go further to Kamet and Ratawan with a permit.

But we had reached our destination! Now it was time to turn back and return to Ghangria. What a lovely trek it had been! How fortuitous! How serendipitous! Thank you Patron saint of Idiots!
