Dorje guest house - our home in Leh
Break time. A day off from riding. The saddle bags could use a break.
And so could the bikes.
And back on the road after a break.
And we couldn't be happier. The road is where we want to be!
Colourful bawa enroute to the highest motorable road in the world
Adi on top of the world! Just look at that smile!
The Khardungla tiger? nah. That's Ketan - it was too cold to take off his balaclava
The world's highest motorable road! And it's open 12 months of the year!
Mr. Cool on K Top
World's highest cafeteria
World's highest marathon! Which supermen run marathons here?!! Adi looks exhausted just sitting there.
Down the pass and on to Nubra valley
Life behind bars - What awesome scenery!
Very encouraging. The bridge is weak, so only one vehicle at a time.
A village! After long long stretches of nothing. We stopped for tea and tsampa.
Which is better? Classic or Thunderbird?
Look who's here! Mr Reddy! Bumped into my old chum Indivar Reddy from Bangalore at Khardung La. What a surprise.
With his gang from Bangalore! The Motoholics. There were 2 BMWs, one ancient pre-war Norton, 2 ancient Yamaha RD 350s and 1 Enfield. None of the fancy bikes survived - the BMWs and the Norton went home in trucks - and only the Royal Enfield and the RD350s made it. Go Figure.

We found an amazing camp tucked away by the river side. Talk about being off the beaten track.
Lost in such a small town? Adi is clueless in Diskit
The sun sets over a wonderful day
The view from our tent! Awesome
