On our way to Bet Dwarka - the island temple. Here we are chilling on boat...

And that whole journey was for nought! The temple was closed from 1 to 5! 'God needs a nap' apparently.
But we got to see a very interesting case study of religion in action, in the shape of how a cow went from being worshipped as 'gaumata' to being whacked with a slipper in a matter of seconds, because it chased a lady for food.
